We know a lot of ChessKids are eager for more fun things to do at home...and it has been difficult keeping up with your chess coaches, clubs, and teachers. So, now we're bringing more ChessKid to everyone!

ChessKid is unlocking ALL of the puzzles on the site: they will be *free* for 2 WEEKS for all kid accounts, even for basic members! This is your chance to prove yourself as a puzzle maven. Ahem--puzzle MAYven! *cricket noise*

The event will begin on May 20th at midnight Pacific time, although that doesn't mean you should start playing at 12AM. You can get a good night's sleep because the event will come to a close on May 31st at 11:59pm Pacific time. Try all the puzzles while you can!

To make things even more interesting, we'll be posting a scoreboard. For the last 5 days of the event, the top 50 ChessKid users (based on puzzles completed) will be listed here on ChessKid. When May ends, the best puzzle solvers will be announced. You might even get a certificate in your inbox from FunMasterMike!
