Getting your whole school on ChessKid

With the switch to a remote learning environment, some schools are registering their entire school on ChessKid to ensure students continually learn during periods of unprecedented times. Schools and programs that are registering 100+ kids on ChessKid are eligible for an Enterprise Account, which grants access to more control and instructor management capabilities.

Starting a chess club on ChessKid

As chess grows in popularity, more and more kids, parents, teachers, and school administrators will want to start a chess club. With a parent or coach account, you can create 'Clubs' to organize the students you teach into one place on ChessKid.com. This feature will give you access to create matches, view the leaderboard, and send messages to your students all within ChessKid.

The ChessKid Classroom Planner is a week-by-week guide that is organized to easily access online resources, such as lessons and activities, for teaching chess. 

This tool is meant to be a flexible outline for extracurricular clubs or in-class math & computer lab time. Each unit references mathematical concepts: lines, measurement, comparisons, spatial reasoning, numbers & operations, planning, pattern recognition, and problem-solving.

ChessKid has recently overhauled our analysis board (ChessKid.com/analysis) for all of your online lesson needs. For games played on ChessKid, each move is recorded for you. Later you can use the Analysis Board of ChessKid to analyze your moves. For other games, you can upload the moves to the Analysis Board and review them.
