What is the ChessKid Cup?

The ChessKid Cup is an exciting online chess tournament, bringing together some of the world's top chess players to compete for a total prize pool of $100,000. This year's tournament features eight Division 1 players, including the legendary Hikaru Nakamura and the young phenom Alireza Firouzja.

The ChessKid Cup is a part of the larger Champions Chess Tour, which is a series of online chess events featuring the world's top players that run throughout the year.

Step 1: Choose a Player to Draw

Choose one of the following 8 Division 1 players to draw. Get creative! Add your unique spin to the image.

Step 2: Submit Your Artwork

Once you have completed your masterpiece, share your artwork on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the hashtag #DrawChessKidCup. Feel free to tag ChessKid, too!

Note: You might need your parents to help you submit your work if you don't have a social media account.

Step 3: Deadline for Submission

Make sure to have your drawing completed and shared in time for consideration. The deadline is midnight, May 19th.
